TC's BBQ and Catering started from humble beginnings. Tom Cuneo, the owner, began selling his BBQ after being "downsized" from his corporate "career" in the Internet Web Hosting industry in 2006. Tom has been cooking BBQ ever since he can remember, learning from his Uncle Terry and his grandma "nanny" and allot of help from other BBQ'rs around the country via www.bbqforum.com . Everyone told Tom for years he had something special with his BBQ and would get him to cook it regularly for them to eat and share with friends.

Tom started competing in 2004 under the team name "Smoke Break BBQ" and immediately was hooked. In 2005 he became a KCBS Certified BBQ Judge. Competitions led to being invited to sell his BBQ at small festivals and gatherings, again it was a hit and the public demanded more.

After the downsizing, Tom decided it was time to see if people really did love it food as much as his friends said they did. He worked with the local health department in building a small mobile kitchen out of a 6x12 trailer to sell his delicious food to the public. Tom took to the streets..... Literally... selling his BBQ on the corner of 25th and Central for months. The response was overwhelming, long lines at his BBQ stand gave him the confidence he needed to take the step to open up what Tom wanted to be a "BBQ Joint and dive the locals would frequent".

In 2010 we had to close our restaurant.

Today TC's BBQ and Catering is Columbus Indiana's favorite BBQ supplier, offering a wide variety of authentically cooked southern BBQ. Come early, even though we cook at capacity every day, we do run out. Tom will not compromise quality for quantity.
